The Okanagan Regional Library (ORL) is your library – your most economical, sustainable, and relevant source for information and entertainment. Established in 1936, the ORL serves over 360,000 people across an area covering 59,600 square kilometres through 29 branches. We also offer various services online through our website. Membership is FREE to people within our library regions, giving you access to the 16th largest library in Canada.
In addition to the immense selection of fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, newspapers, and reference materials available at your local branch, your library card gives you access to:

-Free in-branch Internet access at computer workstations as well as free wireless access
-Hundreds of feature film DVD titles, and television series on DVD
-New music CD releases, and a huge collection of CDs for most music genres
-Thousands of Audiobooks
-A growing catalogue of eBooks for both adults and children
-Magazines through Zinio for Libraries, and a multitude of online resources subscribed to by the library
-Public libraries throughout the province when you show your ORL card and get a BC Library OneCard
A variety of special services for members who are print disabled, living in remote areas of our region, or wanting materials in other languages
The opportunity to suggest a book, magazine, DVD, or other material you would like the ORL to include in its collection
An option to write invigilated exams at our branches
This library has two book return bins - one open 24 hours behind the library, next to the Canadian Tire loading dock, and one inside the mall next to the library entrance and open during mall hours.
