We are excited to welcome volunteer representatives from InspireHealth and Kamloops Cancer Care Supportive Society to share information about supportive care services available for individuals living with cancer, survivors, and their families.
This educational session will help increase awareness of valuable regional health resources available to South Shuswap residents.
Cancer supportive care is proven to improve overall quality of life, increase tolerance to life-saving treatments, and reduce psychological distress. By addressing physical, emotional, and social side effects early on, patients are better equipped to navigate their entire cancer experience.
