The Centre is a two-level chalet overlooking beautiful Shuswap Lake. Each level is approximately 3300 square feet with a capacity of 165 persons on the upper level and 155 on the lower level. The upper level includes: the multi-purpose hall area, an office, kitchen, bar, accessible women’s and men’s washrooms, and storage area for chairs/tables. The lower level includes: the multi-purpose hall area, accessible women’s and men’s washrooms, storage area and a washroom accessible from the outside. Adjacent to the lower level is a covered picnic area with a gas barbeque. There are parking lots for both the upper and lower levels of the Centre with a total capacity of 39 vehicles. In addition to being used for Community Association activities, each level of the Centre and the golf course can be rented for a half-day, an evening, or a full day basis for social, business or family functions.

The CHCA’s parkland areas adjacent to the Centre have been developed into a par 3 golf course and pickleball court. These outdoor facilities are available for use on an annual membership fee or on a day use fee basis.

CHCA is managed by Officers and Directors elected annually in June. The Association provides a number of programs such as co-ed keep-fit classes, par 3 golf, pot luck suppers, bridge, snooker, movies, seniors’ theatre, health-related workshops, crafts and social events. The Association encourages the participation and support of all interested area residents for its programs and activities.
